About Our Coach

I have forever been passionate about riders enjoying their time with horses and to achieve this, I believe in feel and timing as well as balanced and independent riders.

The welfare of the animal is of utmost priority with the horses feeling listened to and understood. I am passionate in striving for safe horses both on the ground and under saddle. Teaching horses in a very soft, slow method were it all is easy, fun and rewarding, not hard work which can create miscommunication and frustration.

We establish clear communication from the ground and start the stepping stones forward to begin under saddle and establishing rider and horse connection with the future goal in mind. I believe in slow steps and not jumping up levels before its time.

I have competed heavily in FEI dressage at the young age of 16-18years old at a national level. I have been fortunate to travel to America 3 times, training with Belinda Nairn-Wertman an Olympian representing the US. I have been to Spain twice having been lucky to have lessons with Raphael Soto and also to Germany to gain knowledge, experience and feeling of dressage on different breeds and methods.

I have competed successfully at Australian Stock Horse shows, showjumping and evented in my young adolescent years. The years of riding a variety of disciplines on numerous horses provided me more experience to build feel and timing.

Qualified with Horse safety instructor and a trail riding guide, I have a passion to pass on my knowledge and background to all ages and experiences whilst still forever learning myself.
